Welcome to July Celebrations
and my participation in Unfurling opening in New York & London
I hope you're keeping cool in this extraordinary heat! Summer has certainly arrived with a vengeance.

My newsletter is a little later than usual because I escaped to Prague in Czechia for a few days. Ironically, it reached 41.1°C, so I spent much of my time doing what I love most — exploring galleries and museums from the comfort of wonderfully air-conditioned buildings!
Looking at art is just as important to my practice as making it. Seeing how other artists solve problems, tell stories, and use colour and materials always sends me home inspired.
What inspires you? How do you find time for research, creativity, or simply to recharge?
Commission Opportunities
I have one commission space available for November 2026.
Diamond, Art Commission, Private Collection
If you've been thinking about commissioning a painting, now is the perfect time to get in touch. Whether you're looking for a portrait of someone special, an artwork for your home, a painting for your workplace, or something more imaginative and dreamlike, I'd love to work with you to create something truly personal.
Please do get in touch if you'd like to discuss an idea.
One of the highlights of my year is Unfurling: Coming Out of Isolation, an inspiring collaboration between Fountain House Gallery (New York) and Bethlem Gallery (London).
The project brings together artists from both sides of the Atlantic, exploring how creativity can foster connection, hope and community.
New York Exhibition

I also have some wonderful news...
Tiny Creatures
My painting Tiny Creatures has been selected for the front cover of the exhibition catalogue. It feels like a real honour and I'm delighted to share it with you.
About Unfurling: Coming Out of Isolation
I'm thrilled to be travelling there to meet the wonderful artists I've now collaborated with twice.
Our first collaboration was through Sharp Gallery's Mushrooms exhibition in London, where I met the artist Vermillion. What began as a chance meeting grew into conversations, shared adventures around London's galleries, and now an international exhibition celebrating creativity, connection and community.
Vermillion beautifully captures what this project has become:
"It is gratifying to see the artwork born through our transatlantic collaborative experience—a lovely unfurling of energies and expressions. To witness the growing of this show from the germ of an idea that came to me while visiting Bethlem Gallery cements my belief that working toward a better world, one step at a time—reaching out to each other—can build a communal space regardless of the surrounding turmoil... The excitement in the rooms! The intelligence, curiosity, resonance. The depth of feeling. The friendship blossoming. We did this!"
I would love for you to join us if you can.

I hope to see many of you over the summer—whether in London, New York, or somewhere in between.
