Step Into the Art Story - news from the studio

The bluebells came early this year… and they didn’t hold back!

I escaped to the woods for a day and came back inspired by the light, space and smell that you only experience in nature.

So tell me

What place holds your precious memories?

These are the stories that get my creative juices flowing.

YOUR SPACE. YOUR STORY.
ON CANVAS.

Summer is coming…
Longer evenings. Open windows. Life slowing down just enough to notice things again.

A favourite chair. A garden corner. The view from your kitchen.

My small garden (and its very needy plant pots!) constantly pulls me into colour, movement, and growth, and that energy flows straight into my work.

And this is where it becomes personal…

I create custom, hand-painted portraits of homes and meaningful places — perfect for gifts, memories, and celebrations, that will become heirloom.

Not just something to hang, but a family treasure.

ART THAT SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT YOU

In April I was invited to exhibit my work exploring Neurodiversity for a conference, showing our strengths not weakness. What are yours? I’d love to know how Art touches you and gain a better understanding of both my audience and my work. I would love your feed back via email, DM on my social media, or a visit to my studio.

WHAT MAKES MY WORK DIFFERENT?

I don’t paint things exactly as they look.
I paint how they
feel.

Influenced by artists like Otto Dix, I use colour, distortion, and energy to capture emotion, joy, tension, nostalgia, connection.

Something that sparks conversation.
Something you live with.

As Leo Tolstoy put it:

…..Art is about passing a feeling from one person to another.

That’s what I create, for you.
